Tall Helping Hands is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and quality of care. All support workers are required to meet strict screening and training requirements prior to employment and throughout their engagement with the business.
All staff must provide a current Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sector screening, as a condition of employment. Support workers are also required to hold valid First Aid certification and complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training to ensure safe, respectful, and effective responses to challenging situations.
In addition, all support workers must complete dementia-specific training to ensure they are equipped to provide informed, compassionate, and person-centered support to clients living with cognitive impairment. Every support worker will hold a recognized Support Worker diploma or an equivalent qualification, ensuring a consistent baseline of education and competency across the team.
